Commonly known as Beebalm. this variety is a short variety that has a pink flower that looks like a firecracker. Monarda grows best in average to moist soil. Full sun but they are tolerant of partially shaded areas. Powdery mildew is a common fungal problem, although new cultivars are more resistant. Planting in areas with air flow will lessen the chance of getting powdery Mildew.
