Commonly known as Larkspur. This is a tall stately bi-annual with semi double vivid purple with a white bee flowers going up the stalk. The New Millennium series of Delphiniums grow best in well drained average to moist soil. Shelter from strong winds is recommended, You may need to stake these plants. It is suggested that when new shoots appear in the spring is to remove all except 2-3 strongest stems for good quality flower spikes. On the more established plant leave 5-7 good, strong shoots. Dead head to encourage new growth.
